Born in The Gambia, Jegan grew up admiring his mums cooking, always offering to taste her dishes to develop his critical tastebuds. Passionate about creating food with the freshest ingredients, drawing the most from their flavours, he pursued his hobby turning it into a career! With over 20 years experience, he has worked with Raymon Blanc, Brian Turner and his cooking inspiration, Gary Rhodes which was a true honour having watched him on TV from a young age. Honing his talents, Jegan undertook bigger challenges to get more experience under his belt. He worked as the Chef for the England Football Team and as the Olympic Production Chef before becoming Head Chef and later Executive Chef for Coventry University Development for Students' Well-Being. Jegan began private chef catering following his passion for preparing, cooking and creatively presenting food. He loves his job so much that when he has a day off, he always invite's friends and family to join him on cooking adventures. Sharing food is always a pleasure especially, seeing the end result of happy faces, so it would be a pleasure to create the perfect dinner party for you!
